Though the waves be tall and the current strong, 

Though the times be dark and sun shine dim,

Take heart dear one and know it will not be long,

Until we hear that eternal hymn,

The clouds will break their seam and roll away, 

The darkness will run and cower in fear,

At the sight of the Lord and and His angelic display,

It will be a day when all creation shall joyfully cheer,

When sin shall be removed and righteousness shall abound,

For our tears shall be wiped away by his hand,

No more worry and sorrow will ever resound,

Then forever in peace we shall reside in thy eternal land.
